I saw something yesterday that says this isn’t really true, the size was taken from the housing act to do with overcrowding. The worry about this is dining rooms being classed as extra bedrooms.

    • The government are claiming extra money from each house that has an unused bedroom, if their residents are receiving any benefits!
So, all children under 10 must share a room. Over 10 up to 4children of the same sex must share a room, or money wil need to be paid back to the government.
      Not a people’s government then.

ffs. I often wonder how the government can justify funding the royal family yet doing this to the people. I also wonder how the people stand for it, why is there not more opposition?
thanks for explaining the tax, it is godsmackingly unfair.
